This series explores the dissolution of boundaries between presence and absence, between what is held and what is let go. In these works, paper and paint enter into a symbiotic relationship — no longer functioning as support and surface, but as shifting, interdependent states.

At times, the paint detaches from the paper entirely, revealing its materiality — not as passive skin, but as an active body that carries its own weight, memory, and form. These moments expose the dual nature of the medium: both autonomous and dependent, both structure and trace.

The result is a delicate equilibrium, where surface and support, presence and absence, are no longer fixed roles, but fluid forces in continuous exchange.
